This Is Not a Government Office. This privately operated reference site cannot retrieve criminal records, perform official checks, correct or remove an agency record, or receive a Nebraska set-aside petition. Those services must come from the appropriate public office.
Need an Official Record?
Use the record type to choose the proper Wayne County or Nebraska custodian:
- Police and incident reports: ask the law enforcement agency that created the report
- Court case files: use the Court Case Lookup guide or call the clerk of the court that handled the case
- Arrest and receiving-jail information: contact the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, since the county has no formal jail
- RAP sheets and official criminal-history searches: request them from the Nebraska State Patrol Criminal Identification Division
- Set-aside petitions: file in the Nebraska court that imposed the sentence
- Sex offender information: use the Nebraska State Patrol Sex Offender Registry Division
For sheriff-held records, contact the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, 521 Lincoln Street, Wayne, NE 68787, at 402-375-1911. Its public office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The county does not publish a separate records division, records email, or online request form.
